Hot Fudge Pudding With Sauce

1 cup Flour
1/3 cup Cocoa
3/4 cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Shortening
1 Egg
2/3 cup Milk
-----SAUCE-----
3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Cocoa
2 tablespoons Water
2 cups Water; boiling

Put dry ingredients in a bowl and cut in shortening or marg. Add egg and milk. Stir til blended. Put batter in a greased 8" pan. Blend sauce ingredients and pour gently over batter. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Serve with milk or cream. Courtesy H. Peagram
