Naturist's Pumpkin Custard

1 quart milk
1/2 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 eggs
1 1/2 cup cooked, mashed pumpkin
Beat the eggs and milk together. Beat in rest of ingredients. Butter casserole dish and add mixture. Bake in a pan of hot water at 350F. for about 1 1/2 hours (until knife inserted in middle comes out clean).
