Saucepan Fudge Browniesbrownies, desserts 1/2 cup butter or margarine; melted 2 oz chocolate; unsweetened 1 cup sugar 2 each eggs; large 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup flour; unbleached 1/2 cup nuts; chopped Melt butter or margarine and chocolate in a saucepan. Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup sugar. Blend in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts and mix well. Spread in greased 8 X 8 X 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool; cut into squares. Makes 16 brownies. |
